Start dates should be 4-8 weeks after the application date to allow time for reviews. The project start date should be based on when the applicant intends to begin spending the allocated funds.

The project end date should be when the applicant either expects to have exhausted the allocated funds or published the research results, depending on the intended purpose of the funds.
